Exploring Architectural Elegance: Sara's Vibrant Oasis at Kips Bay Palm Beach Decorator Show House

Every year brings forth a new wave of creativity and innovation at the prestigious Kips Bay Palm Beach Decorator Show House. When conceptualizing and designing a space for this year’s bathroom space Sara Story redefined the space through the lens of architectural forms and vibrant colour blocking. Inspiration was drawn from the renowned architect Luis Barragán. Barragán’s architectural approach embraced the principles of Modernism while remaining deeply rooted in Mexican tradition.

Sculpting Serenity

The space achieves a harmonious balance seamlessly blending simplicity and drama. Vibrant saffron yellow zellige tiles engulf the entirety of the bathroom, evoking a bold and captivating atmosphere, often bathed in the gentle glow of Florida's warm sunlight, the bathroom offers an inviting ambience. The sleek Sono Kast basin makes a sophisticated statement with its sculptural form and bold silhouette. Featuring a sweeping curved bowl with ample vanity space, it’s a sculptural piece that demands attention, bringing joy and intrigue while becoming a defining element of the room's ambience. Its tactile nature invites engagement, making it a true artistic centrepiece.
